Andrew founded
R&D Solutionz Limited in 1996 to provide specialised development services
to the retail oil industry. Previously, he had many years' experience in
working with oil companies and systems integrators around the world, particularly
in Asia and South Africa.
As Managing Director of R&D Solutionz, Andrew leads a dedicated team
of developers and business professionals with an international focus.
Development contracts have taken in territories as diverse as Malaysia,
South Africa, USA, Europe, Australia and Russia. Alongside these
contract developments, there has been heavy investment in the development
of internal products for RDS, to the point where the company is now primarily
focussed on the commercialisation of the IP created and owned by the company.
Andrew has been fundamental in the introduction and implementation of award-winning
IT and quality systems at R&D Solutionz to support complex and distributed
project management and to be internationally competitive.
With the recent turbulent times in the IT sector, Andrew has been heavily
involved in a variety of company structure and funding options. This has
led to extensive experience with the intricacies of the New Zealand and
international investment scenes.
