rapidRF Product Range
The versatility of the rapidRF products result in the ability
to provide customers with either a standard rapidRF solution or a custom
solution, tailored to their specific needs and requirements. Past solutions
have included attendant management, fleet management and the multiple variations
of pump payment.
The rapidRF product range is suited as both a single contactless reader
payment system as well as a multi-reader networked solution that includes
the integration of third party components and legacy hardware.
rapidRF6000
Reader

The rapidRF6000 Reader is a low cost, easy to retrofit device that acts both as a customer response unit, and providing fast and secure read/write functionality. The rapidRF6000 Reader is a proven, certified device with a read range of 40-50mm (with the current antennae). The reader is visually attractive and provides distinctive feedback depending on the state of the transaction.
Current uses of the reader include, payment and authorisation on a petrol dispenser, payment of goods in a shop, fulfillment of tags, and code loading requirements.
The rapidRF Mifare reader is available with either Echelon LON network or serial interface.

rapidRF Server
The rapidRF Server is a software package that provides a PC Interface to the rapidRF Manager. It is a comprehensive suite of software components providing application support across a wide range of operating and business environments.
rapidRF Adaptor Board
The Adapter Board provides power and networking to the networked rapidRF Reader. The Adapter Board connects two rapidRF Readers to one power supply and provides a simple networking solution between devices. The Adapter Board consists of LEDs for feedback on the state of the reader, and is small and compact so to be hidden away.
rapidRF Manager
The rapid RF Network Manager is the
central controller for a network of RF devices, providing the gateway between
the rapidRF network and other site systems. The rapidRF Network Manager has a published standard allowing third party systems to integrate to, and use as part of a standard networked RF offering.
The rapidRF Network Manager is a key component in many of the rapidRF Business Solutions.
rapidRF Module
The rapidRF Module integrates third
party devices within the rapidRF network and is a key component in integrating
rapidRF products with legacy payment devices. It receives an existing protocol
and converst it to the published rapidRF Standard. This functionality provides the ability to mix and match technologies as required, whilst maintaining a single point of integration. The rapidRF module is a protocol translator that makes deployment and integration of complex solutions simple.

Software Development Kits
The rapidRF SDK contains a number of the rapidRF core products that shows the solution working, from tag read to PC.
LON SDK
Enclosed in a sturdy briefcase the SDK can be carried from location to location to demonstrate functionality to a number of people, or set up for visualising and development at a fixed point.
The SDK not only comes with all the relevant hardware and five tags for your use, it also comes with easy to install software to demonstrate some of the key functionality:

Serial SDK
The SDK demonstrates the key functionality of contactless card reading, as well as showing the easy setup of the serial contactless reader. With the serial connection, the reader is capable of plugging into a PC or laptop, which makes this SDK easily portable for demonstration.
As well as the relevant hardware, the SDK comes with easy to install software that showcases and demonstrates the key benefits of the contactless smartcard solution. Five tags will be provided with the SDK for your use.
